An old board had too much damage to nose and tail to repair so I chopped it down to a weird 4'9 shovel-nose, mini-simmons-esque twin fin and to make it more of a challenge I used household items to seal the ends (a mix of superglue, facewipes and baking soda) rather than glass and resin (didn't go so well). The result was lumpy, ridiculous and uninspiring. Not to be defeated so easily, I decided to take it to the local reef for some super shallow little drainers and to my surprise it actually kinda worked. I'm 6'3 and over 12 stone so I didn't think I had a chance in hell on it but it was actually pretty fun. Next big fun swell, I'll be taking the Slop Sled (after I glass the nose and tail properly this time).
