Backstabber is an action comedy thriller based in Springfield, Missouri 1992, the year before CD’s went mainstream. Detective Shepard attempts to solve a string of missing teen cases in Middle-America. Dancing and smoking is his only way of dealing with the massive amount of cases and information being tossed his direction. Hank and Chuck, a couple of amateur photographers, set out to track and document these missing occurrences before they happen. Somehow they connected all these cases to one reoccurring thing. A Dragon Inn 3 Double Line cassette tape at each crime scene. While the town is in terror, National Audio seems to be celebrating a sudden boom in sales. As missing teenagers climb in numbers so does National Audios profits.
