Task: You’ve seen the real film, now re-cut the film that it could have been! In other words, turn that family-friendly comedy into a nightmarish horror, or transform that unsettling thriller into a lighthearted romp. Your job is to select a film that we all know and love (or don't love) and recut it into a two or three-minute trailer with a completely different plot - one which transforms its original genre. Feel free to incorporate footage from another film to support your concept, if you wish. Your goal should be to demonstrate a strong grasp of genre, and an understanding of pace, rhythm and cutting to sound.
