I wanted to create a film which explored the feelings of frustration and disconnect, particularly what artists feel when they experience losing love for the things they're most passionate about. I wanted to try and create something that reflected the unhinged, frightening energy of a psychological horror, to strongly express the impact of having something fun and close to one's heart being completely ruined by one's own efforts to enjoy it.
