This is a video I thought would be funny to film. Beauty tutorials are really popular on social media, and one day I wondered, what would it be like if someone shared beauty secrets that were really weird and outrageous, but also work? I was surprised to find articles online of people having bizarre beauty secrets, and also drawing inspiration from some family and friends tried... I immediately wanted to make this reality.
Though this would make for a fun video... This was my second attempt at it. I had somebody the first time around, but I realized she wasn't cut out for it half way through the shoot, and didn't wanna have another flop on my hands. Kelly Borbridge then ended up being someone I thought would be more ideal, so I approached her with the concept (and also explained my troubles with the first shoot). She took it on without hesitation, and also helped make the video her own.
I'm really satisfied with how this turned out, and I hope you all enjoy watching it!
