In March 2020 we hosted the Bayleys Kaimai Golf Classic. Held on the Midson's farm in the Kaimais it's certainly not your typical golf course. The fundraising event for the Kaimai Community sees corporates and families parading in their gumboots, a piece of downpipe slung over the shoulder to hold a few clubs, teeing off from in the river, chipping into troughs and dodging the sheep poo. Around $73,000 has been raised from this event over the past five years contributing towards the community skatepark, upgrade of the school pool and now funds set aside for some upgrades to the playground. I'm proud to be a major sponsor of this event. We've put together a video - if you live on a lifestyle property, this may be an idea for some family fun.
