The so called "Little Fugue," BMW 578 (to distinguish it from Bach's longer Great Fantasia and Fugue in G Minor, BMW 542) has been one of favorite musical creations since I first heard an awe inspiring rendition by the late, great American concert organist, E. Power Biggs. While a pair of classical guitars pale in comparison to the teeth chattering power and subsonic rumblings of a giant pipe organ, it was still fun to give it a go. The slide show portrays some of the stunning churches I visited during a recent family vacation.
