Diego Marcon (Italy) is artist in residence at Gasworks from 6 January - 23 March 2020.
Diego Marcon is an artist based in Milan. His work considers the relationship between reality and representation through an investigation into the ontology of the moving image. Meet him at our OPEN STUDIOS this Saturday 14 March!⠀⠀

Through film, video and installation, Marcon’s work attempts to constitute a link between structural, theoretical approaches to moving image and more popular forms of genre cinema and television such as horror, slapstick comedy and cartoons.⠀

During his residency Diego has been working on a new film titled The Parents' Room, a short musical featuring actors and animation.
