Last Saturday we hosted the 4th GAME of go-shred at Backyards Snowpark in Brandnertal. Maybe some of you have been at the park already, but for us, it was our premiere. Even though we heard about it and of course saw it on the web, it was our first time. 

The delivery occurred on Friday already and as you might imagine, the first contact with the staff was a real pleasure. The boys were there on time and of course informed by Franz, the head of the park, that there was a delivery to expect.

As we are used to the mentality of the Vorarlberg- region, the boys were totally relaxed, friendly, but also had a good sense of humor.

 Unfortunately, we only arrived at 3 pm at the park so we had only one hour left to shred a little bit. The park is AWESOME. It runs along a six-chairlift and has something to offer for every level. A real PLUS is the countless numbers of rails in the hole park made out of the purest steel. Apart from that, there’s a Step-Up-Kicker, a classic Roler with a 12-15m table and even a small Banked Slalom for in-between.
 
Thanks to the super-engaged shapers, everything went well so we could start with the registration at 11.15 am. 

Despite the closing of all lifts at 11 am, over 35 participants could make it to the GAME. As the park lift was the only lift of the ski area, that was still opened, we could run the event that was carried by the ongoing wind. Next to BBQ, lemonade, good vibes, and relaxing sounds everyone had a totally beautiful day.

At about 3 pm we started with the awards ceremony. And thanks to the generous sponsors of our partners blue-tomato, Volcom, Stance und GIRO, everyone was amply rewarded! We had a great day, could check out a new park, ride and party with new people and already look forward to our next visit in Brandnertal.
