Curators’ note
Young Voices @ Bloomsbury Festival shines a light on the work of young filmmakers, with essay films that capture the everyday in London before the pandemic and now. This curated programme will take viewers on a virtual stroll through Bloomsbury. It highlights the beauty in the mundane and performs a similar gesture to those long walks we took through our neighbourhoods during lockdown. The selection combines short meandering videos with longer reflective ones, each championing the experimental nature of the essayistic form. - VC
