Posted December 2019 on my personal Facebook. The reaction to the video convinced to try and share it more. Here below is the description from my original post.

"A year ago I was overwhelmed by the memories and feelings years of racism had given me, and suddenly felt the need to put them out somewhere, express what I had inside. One evening I sat down in Espresso House and drew in my notebook every sentence and episode that was on my mind. Usually, I would have just stopped there: the movie was clear and outlined in my head, I had everything written down and it wouldn't go anywhere. But somehow, through the encouragement my unaware friends were giving me, I found the strength and will to sit down and turn it into an actual video. After all, I knew what I wanted, I just had to do it. A few days later, in between the madness of my courses and extra projects I took on, it was done. The drawings were in, the scenes were finally connected.
Some months later, the video came back to my mind. I had created something, but no one was seeing it. It was still a secret. I was scared: are people going to understand? What if making this video was useless and it doesn't matter to anyone? Did I put enough, if any effort into this? Am I going to be judged? This is all so deep and personal to me. The problem is, no matter how scared I am, I still can't bear to keep this hidden among my files. So then, after a couple hours of audio work, it was done.

So here it is. After a very long time, I am finally sharing my most personal piece of work to this day: Young Brown Girl."
