At the end of 2019, The Face with the Jamaican Tourist Board travelled to Jamaica's renowned Geejam Studios with a selection of the world’s finest recording artists and producers, for a weeklong writing retreat curated by UK producer Cadenza.

Directed by Marcus McSweeney, the film stars Cadenza alongside Jorja Smith, Guilty Beatz, Dre Skull, P2J, Miraa May, Marlon Roudette, Agent Sasco, Amine, Protoje, Kelvin Krash, Kasien, Sevana, Stalk Ashley and Bella Blair.

Steeped in a rich culture of music and a way of life that lends itself to creativity like no other, Jamaica has long served as a musical retreat for artists from around the world.

This film gives us a taste of the magic of the island and shows how it inspires the creativity and flow of this talented group of musicians while they make music and create some of the brand new unreleased tracks that you are about to hear.
