BulletProof Hitches are usually used in the drop position, however we get a lot of questions asking whether or not they can use our hitches in the rise position. The answer is, absolutely. Simply remove the pin, flip the hitch 180 degrees, re-insert the pin, and you are good to go.

The reason you would use a hitch in the rise position is if you needed the ball to sit higher than the receiver when you are towing trailers that are higher than usual like large equipment trailers or pintle trailers, or if your vehicle sits lower than usual and you need to raise the ball up to the level of your trailer coupler.
