Play, download and edit the free video Using pixel convolutions on text.

Pixel permutation (in Processing java framework) to create an elegant degradation effect on the typography.
Used in the opening credits for a short film, where I wanted to the letters to dissolve as if in water. Blurring didn't give the right result and I wanted something more organic and noisy.
Pixel convolutions did the trick.
