The film I am working with is Dr. Strangelove. I wanted to convey the ridiculousness of the nuclear war that is shown in the movie.The power was like a game to the military leaders, a competition of who was the bigger man. The dice and cards represent this idea of a game and also the fact that they are taking a chance and rolling the dice on the future of the world. The fire is a representation of the danger. My idea for the round table was to have the people playing Russian roulette as this is such an absurd game it also ties in the Russian element. The shotgun is a joke because obviously if you shoot a shotgun it's going to go off so it defeats the purpose of the game. But I'm not sure if this idea comes across properly.
