20 years ago, scientists discovered one of the least talked about conservation catastrophes - an unstoppable fungal pathogen that is causing the immediate extinction of 600 species of amphibians, including the little known Mountain Chicken frog. Luckily, quarantined groups have survived in captive breeding programs, and are now the best chance to reintroduce this species and take part in an experiment that could save hundreds of other species that are in critical need of solutions for this global pandemic.
