Despite the world being in a total state of chaos, love still wins. Tiffany + Nick were scheduled to get married during the height of a global pandemic, with their wedding date just one month after Louisiana issued a state wide "Stay at Home" order. Gatherings were limited to 10 or less, public buildings were shut down, churches closed to large congregations, all posing major issues for the bride and groom who planned on having a large southern spring wedding.

Still, Tiffany and Nick moved forward, scaling back their wedding and keeping the focus where it should be, on their love and their union before God. It was by far the smallest wedding we've ever filmed but, rest assured that church was no less full of love than any other wedding we've filmed. Part of me wishes we could film all our weddings in such a stripped down and raw way. The day was simple, there was no fuss or hustle. When you take away all of frill, the tight schedules, the millions of photo ops and all the excess of modern weddings, all you're left with is love. That is what made the day so much more moving! I feel like this description is a horrible consolation for what we really witnessed that day - but every smile, tear, hug, touch and kiss somehow seemed MORE and we couldn't have been more honored to be there with Tiffany and Nick as they said "I do" and became a family along with their little girl Aria!
