'The Recess' by Iranian director Navid Nikkhah Azad wins Ronzo for Best Narrative Short at the 18th Oxford Film Festival in the US.

Inspired by the tragic death of Sahar Khodayari known as Iran's "Blue Girl", "The Recess" (zang e tafrih) tells the story of Sahar, a rebel who decides to run away from school, disguise herself and go to a football game.

'The Recess' won the Best Performance award at the 33rd Living Skies Student Film Festival in Canada, won the Best Narrative at the 24th Johns Hopkins Film Festival in the US, and was nominated for Best Narrative at the 54th Humboldt International Film Festival in the US.

'The Recess' is set to premiere in EU at the 18th Alicante Film Festival in Spain.
