This video is less about Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, Laura Palmer, or David Lynch than it is about the superb acting that can be found in the chemistry between Sheryl Lee and James Marshall. WHERE it occurs in the film, it is utterly timeless, set in a place called America ... which makes their scenes absolutely perfect for the right kind of retro music from the 60's. In this case, the right kind of music is "Time Won't Let Me" by The Outsiders. Recorded in late 1965, it peaked at #5 on Billboard and #6 on Cash Box on April 23, 1966. This is a very short, but powerful rock and roll song by the Cleveland, Ohio band, one that easily rivaled any Beatles or other big beat British song of the period, and one of the most memorable of the mid-1960's, so the scenes I edited really had to count. Here it is, short but sweet (I hope).
