The 21-minute drama film adapted by Cameron Lee Horace was based on the short story, ‘Maisie Can You Hear Me?’ by reclusive English novelist Miles Gibson (Gentlemen's Relish).

An elderly lady sits vacant, as her younger self and deceased sisters are sent from past memory to confront a life of lust. Elderly Maisie (Claudia Lindemann) is refusing to talk. Matron (Fiona Leishman) and James (Joe Snape), fear she is unable to remember her past. Despite their frequent attempts with visual prompts, Maisie remains dormant. The audience are later taken on a journey through Maisie's eventful memories as Young Maisie (Sophie Colquhoun), recollects her youth in a series of soliloquies. The short was also co-produced by Sophie Colquhoun and is set for festival release this summer (2021).
