A short video of summertime in the English Lake District. All captured using the new Canon C300 Mark III and 18-80mm Compact Servo lens. Shot in 4K DCI XF-AVC, Cinema Gamut, C-Log 2, Production Matrix.
Edited and graded within Premiere Pro CC.
Initial impressions show incredible dynamic range and colour separation performance in the C300 Mark III. In addition to adding the Canon C-Log 2 to Rec709 WideDR conversion LUT, many shots have had manual contrast, exposure, and saturation adjustments to push the image in challenging HDR situations. In all circumstances, the sensor and XF-AVC codec proved unbreakable.
