The 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, honoring the best achievements in film and television performances for 2019, will be presented Sunday, January 19, 2020 and broadcast live on both TNT and tbs.
In support of the event, our friends at tbs/TNT challenged us to produce a :20 On-Air Graphics Promo + Toolkit Package that brings “award show” energy and excitement without regurgitating design approaches of awards show past.
To meet said challenge, we focused on striking a balance between abstract graphic compositions, transformations and ceremonial elegance. Which resulted in a package representing the celebratory magic of the awards, pulling the focus toward the pounding pulse and anticipation of the moment between hearing “the nominees are” and “and the winner is.”
