"Cartas transoceánicas" es una película epistolar entre dos ciudades, Barcelona y Buenos Aires, entre dos amigas que quieren seguir haciendo cine juntas,
a pesar de la distancia.

A través de mails y cartas, como si de un juego surrealista se tratara, se va
creando un discurso sobre la estructura de la película y sus posibilidades
narrativas.

Un ir y venir del pasado al presente, de la ciudad recordada a la ciudad vivida.

El cine, la amistad y la poesía entre dos continentes.

La película surge de la necesidad de ambas de seguir filmando y viendo la otra ciudad, aquella que dejamos atrás. A través de skypes y cartas, se va creando un discurso sobre la propia estructura de la película y las posibilidades narrativas del formato epistolar. Un ir y venir del pasado al presente, de la ciudad recordada a la ciudad vivida. Una reflexión sobre la memoria, la distancia, la casa y el cine.

"Transoceanic letters" is an epistolary film between two cities, Barcelona and Buenos Aires, between two friends who want to continue making movies together, despite the distance.
