TBS is Rebranding and It Looks Pretty Sweet!

We love a good rebranding story here at BIRDMAN, and with that in mind, let us present to you the current rebranding campaign of TBS. You'll know them as the Japanese network that brought you famous game shows and Ultra Series programs. And their new logo is pretty sweet. Especially the one for movie theaters, which we happened to produce.

The main logo is of a refreshing bright blue. Like the original content the network is intent on producing,
the diagonal line connecting the T to S is impressive, combining the Group's willingness to provide content and services while being aware of the future in a global framework.

Additionally, each group inside TBS Holdings renewed their logo. At BIRDMAN we had the chance to produce the motion logo for TBS movies aired in cinemas worldwide. And that s why we aimed for a universal style to mirror the brand's new refresing image.

Used for cinematic productions starting with August 2020. We hope this logo will enhance your cinamatic experience.

BIRDMAN was in charge of planning, motion design, CG & animation production.

TBSグループは、2020年4月に新ブランドロゴを発表しました。メインの「TBS」のロゴは、爽やかで鮮やかなブルー。そして、TからSをつなぐ斜めのラインが印象的です。この新しいロゴには、この先の未来、世界（新しいフィールド）を意識し、コンテンツやサービスを提供していくという同グループの意志が込められているそうです。グループ各社のブランドロゴも刷新され、BIRDMANは新しい「TBS制作の劇場映画用モーションロゴ」の制作を担当しました。新ブランドロゴへ込められた思いを汲み取りつつ、グローバルでも通用する普遍的なスタイルを目指しました。

2020年8月の劇場用作品より使用されています。
映画館で作品の冒頭を飾るロゴ、どうか長くみなさまに愛されますように。
