We hope to express through this short film that individual human resistance is very difficult to succeed, and is so small that it is unbearable in front of fate. Throughout the film, the female lead fights bravely against fate, but in the end, she is swallowed by fate and becomes a doll in the hands of others, which is ridiculous, sad and lamentable. During the conception stage of the script, we wanted to highlight more traditional Chinese culture in the film, and the shadow puppet performance in the film came from the "Little Bee Shadow Art Troupe" in Chongqing, "a pair of skillful hands mobilize thousands of horses, two bamboo poles play all the joy and sorrow". During the filming, the real shadow puppet show was a refreshing tribute to the traditional Chinese art.
