One time I told him I was scared of something at school, and he looked me dead in the eyes and said, 'son, you disgust me.' I never did know what a good man was supposed to be, with only a weak man to look to for an example. And then, when another weak man decided he wanted the world for his own - I ended up here."

We're very proud to present our drama short 'Suns of War', which we created for the Hell Let Loose film competition. The film tells the story of Jimmy, a soldier fighting in Normandy in World War 2, as he writes a letter home to his wife and son. His experiences and dangers of feirce combat alongside decent men help him open up to his family about the abuse he went through at the hands of his father, and the strangeness of the fact that Jimmy had to go to war to be able to find some semblence of peace.

The film was shot entirely inside the Hell Let Loose video game engine and also doubles as a promotional film for the 101st Assault Division clan. We really do hope you enjoy this one, because it was certainly a labour of love for us. �
