A collection of found super 8 footage, direct animation, and 16mm found footage run through an 8mm scanner. The bulk of the film consists of The Thing from Another Planet (1951) and my own footage which consists of video feedback recorded on super 8. I used many techniques such as painting, bleaching, scratching, and toning the film. A hodgepodge of various material cinema effects. Sound consists of samples from various sources such as a 2000 Flushes 80s commercial, John F Kennedy's Inauguration Speech, Allen Ginsberg's poem "America", and The Shangri-las' "Give Him A Great Big Kiss".
