Part 1 explores her rise to the throne. The dying king Edward VI asserts his decision for the succession of the crown. John Dudley is believed to have had a large part in getting Jane on the throne, nosing his way closer to the royal line, for the elevation of his own political status.
As well as highlighting England's dark history, the short film explores themes of moving image as a tool for manipulating how the past is remembered.
