In December 2019, I was awarded the Bindley Grant by Studio 22, a production company at Northwestern University. These two short excerpts are from a 20-minute short film that I made with the grant. The film takes place on a single day - February 14th, 2020 - and is made up of a blend of found footage, interview footage, and scripted material. Working with a crew of about 12 friends, we shot the movie over two weekends. Link Wolfe filmed it with a borrowed Sony HD Camcorder, multiple iPhones, Quicktime Screen Recording, and laptop-webcam. By editing the film myself and by using cheap camera equipment, we were able to cut the production costs enough to pay all of the actors and the crew heads as well as provide delicious on-set food.
