New year and a new decade means renewed spirits for a creative soul.

I started 2020 off on an airplane to Seattle for work and brought along my new Fuji XT3 camera to test out it's video capabilities during my down time in the city. It was also the perfect opportunity to create my version of the old Viewmaster toys most of had as children. I remember looking through that red piece of plastic and seeing all the beautiful vibrant animals and far off lands I didn't even know the names of with such excitement. Sadly, no wild animals where I was in Seattle but instead did find a vibrant cityscape full of sights and sounds that were captured beautifully.

I'm really impressed with this little camera. I had bought a Sony RX100v to use as my travel camera but could never get use to the form factor of it. The great thing about the Fuji is that with all the real dials for ISO, shutter speed, and aperture control on the their lenses. It feels like an old mechanical film camera, which is what I originally learned on.
