Recondite is an experimental film that showcases how different attributes affect a dancers performance. In this short-film, we follow a dancer's journey through the evolution of her most raw and bare form into a complex and dynamic performer. By starting with gentle body movements, as simple as her feet dragging along the floor, she slowly increases the weight of her gestures becoming more emotionally available to the audience. As layers of fabrics are added, the choreography changes and the lightning becomes more drastic. Each attribute tests the dancer’s ability to use it within her performance.
