This actuality film, "Porch Pups," shows my dogs Kiya and Jasper playing quietly on the porch, as the light rainfall prevents them from wanting to play in the front yard. As you can see, Kiya sits quietly, occasionally reacting to sounds and observing the front yard as she usually does. Then, Kiya's demeanor changes immediately as Jasper is let out to play with her. I wanted to show this because I wanted to capture Kiya's candid reaction to her furry friend joining her outside on a rainy day. It almost communicates their special, close-knit relationship - even in the most average or simple moments. I think this short clip holds more meaning during this time in our lives, as we are learning how to enjoy each other's company without the luxury of exploring as much as we would like to.
