"Piece Of" performed at Jaffa Well (curator: Adiya Porat), Print Screen Festival (curator: Lior Zalmanson) and Woman Festival (curator: Einat Besser).
In “Piece Of” performance artist Savyon is trying to stretch and expand physics in order to stretch and expand the appearance of the “self”. Between the real and the virtual, she is being duplicated again and again… What is fake, what is truth, what is fiction in this new logic? What is being documented and perpetuate in the looper and what is “only” left in the eco of memory? What are the relations between the live essential body and its virtual duplications?
