'Penniless' is my second ever short film, produced in 2018 for my first semester project at Bournemouth University's Film BA. It follows the story of a single father who is creeping closer to the poverty line, eventually resorting to crime to feed both himself and his child. The brief for this film was to include no dialogue, and have the film relate to at least one of the United Nation's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, of which we chose poverty/hunger.
Genre: Drama.
Shot on Panasonic 101 with native and adapted Nikon lenses, no speedbooster.
