Official trailer for the film: The Last Man on Earth. Music by Andrew James Procotor and Holly Laessig Proctor. The capture of the moon was a happy accident. I was filming the sequence at the gate with Michael Sosnick (04/06/20). When the shot was in finished, I moved the camera away and focused on the moon. Then stepped aside to talk with Michael. When I came back to turn off the camera, I noticed that the position of the moon in frame had changed. I decided to let the camera run until the moon was completely out of frame. Just then, the clouds descended.
The action of the moon was still too slow for film, so I set speed to 30x in edit (FCPX).
