Realizado por Ivo Reis e Vanessa Fernandes, este curto documentário retrata um
território onde água, solo e ação humana se cruzam com uma forte pegada ambiental
mas que parece quase indelével. O local é Estarreja, um território marcado pelo
desenvolvimento social, crescimento económico e pela atividade industrial. O filme
segue a água que nos conduz por entre ribeiras e valas, juncos e arbustos, descobrindo
o caminho de uma paisagem contaminada. À sucessão de imagens do entorno de
Estarreja juntam-se as vozes dos locais que refletem um coro de diferentes perceções
que os realizadores escolheram representar a uma só voz.

Directed by Ivo Reis and Vanessa Fernandes, this short documentary portrays a
territory where water, soil and human action intersect with a strong environmental footprint
but it seems almost indelible. This place is Estarreja, a territory marked by
social development, economic growth and industrial activity. The film
follows the water that leads us through streams and ditches, reeds and shrubs, discovering
the path of a contaminated landscape. The succession of images from the surroundings of
Estarreja joins the voices of the locals who reflect a chorus of different perceptions
that the directors chose to represent with one voice.
