Partindo do projeto do cinema pensado como encontro vivo entre o realizador, o ator e a câmera no set cinematográfico, o livro investiga a construção do drama fílmico operado pelos modos particulares de cada encenador fragmentar, montar e operar com a repetição e acúmulo de cenas. A consciência desses procedimentos e o domínio sobre esse encontro resgatam o filme de sua banalização crescente na atualidade. Dentro desse objetivo, as aproximações e atritos entre o teatro e o cinema são investigados através de conceitos como presença, rastro e espaço, lembrando a origem híbrida da encenação no filme. Esses conceitos servem também para testar o ator como elo principal entre as duas práticas e para pensar quatro categorias de ator que surgem diante da função intermediadora da câmera: O ator cotidiano, o ator extracotidiano, o ator desconstruído e o ator social.

Considering the cinema project as a living encounter between the director, the actor and the camera on the film set, this book investigates the construction of the filmic drama operated by the particular modes of each director while dealing with fragmentation, edition, repetition and accumulation of scenes. The awareness of these procedures and the mastery of this meeting redeem the movie of the increasing trivialization it undergoes nowadays. Within this goal, the approaches and frictions between theater and cinema are investigated through concepts such as presence, trace and space, recalling the hybrid origin of staging on the cinema. These concepts are also used to test the actor as the main link between the two practices and to elaborate four categories of actor appearing before the intermediary function of the camera: the daily actor, the extra-daily actor, the deconstructed actor and the social actor.
