Sinossi

Una giovane donna viaggia verso una località collinare isolata per raggiungere il vecchio cascinale lasciatole in eredità da un lontano zio. Durante l'esplorazione della dimora, in un cassetto trova l'antica foto di una bambina, e una lettera dove la si avverte dei magici influssi che quel luogo può provocare. Dopo una notte agitata ed insonne, e sentendo la necessità di far luce su un mistero che al contempo la spaventa, la ragazza decide di inoltrarsi nel bosco circondante, spinta da un'enigmatica forza che la conduce verso un'imponente albero. Tra le sue radici, emerge un televisore che improvvisamente si accende, mostrandoci lo stesso albero immortalato in un'era passata. Intorno ad esso, due bambine somiglianti a quella ritratta nella fotografia, sembrano giocare felici...
Originariamente ideato da un sogno personale di qualche anno fa, il film è suddiviso in tre capitoli che si ispirano vagamente al mito greco di Persefone.

A young woman travels to an isolated hilly location to reach an old farmhouse that her distant uncle bequeathed her. During the exploration of the building, in a drawer, she finds an old photo of a little girl and a letter with the warning about the magical influences of that place. After a restless sleep, interested in solving the mistery that scares her, she decides to go into the woods that surround the farmhouse, pushed by an enigmatic force that leads her to an imposing tree. Between the roots she finds a TV that suddendly turns on showing the same tree in a bygone era. Around the tree two little girls, similar to the one in the photo, seem to happily play together...
Originally conceived by an old personal dream, and vaguely inspired by the Greek myth of Persephone.
