TRAMA
Nureyev - The White Crow, il film diretto da Ralph Fiennes, segue la vita del leggendario ballerino Rudolf Nureyev (Oleg Ivenko), dell'infanzia sofferta nella gelida città sovietica di Ufa, fino a divenire ballerino nella scuola che ha frequentato a Leningrado. Incontenibile e ribelle, a soli 22 anni fa parte della rinomata Kirov Ballet Company, con la quale va a Parigi nel 1961, nel suo primo viaggio al di fuori dell’Unione Sovietica. Gli ufficiali del KGB, però, lo marcano stretto, diffidando enormemente del suo comportamento anticonformista e della sua amicizia con la giovane parigina Clara Saint (Adèle Exarchopoulos). Le intemperanze avranno conseguenze drammatiche, il ballerino non potrà andare a Londra con la compagnia e dovrà essere immediatamente rimpatriato. I “superiori” di Nureyev gli comunicano che deve assolutamente tornare in patria per esibirsi al Cremlino ma lui comprende che sta pagando caro il prezzo della sua libertà nella capitale parigina.
