—The snapshots of a day already herald the heat that will be sweeping the streets of Naples until the evening. We encounter people, structures and casual movements, some of them of subliminal aggression, but always filled with a dense poetry and tenderness. Like tableaux they were shot by the visual artist Kevin A. Rausch with his 8mm camera, or better to say, they were captured by him? Embedded in the postcards and also in the voice of a prison inmate, this film resembles a love letter; the compositional setting by Katharina Kast supports the mutual exchange of contemplation and being contemplated. An intimate and condensed journey takes place, which in its montage continues the longing that is quoted within the postcards. And that voice reverberates.—
