GREEN NASIM is an experimental choreographic work about outsider art imaginaries, set inside a hijacked cinema screening a live as yet unfinished documentary about the coming animal revolution.
It is inspired in part by the strange story of Nasim Aghdam, a prolific youtube video artist, Iranian immigrant and animal rights activist who last year took her own life following a violent incident at the US youtube headquarters over censorship allegations.

Nana Biluš Abaffy è un’artista con formazione in filosofia ed esperienze nella performance sperimentale e nella danza. Il pensiero di Nana si basa sulla convinzione di un’irriducibile fluttuazione dell’esperienza umana. Il suo lavoro vuole definire uno spazio per colmare tale differenza. Nata a Zagabria, ora è un’aliena a Melbourne. Parvin Saljoughi è un’artista indipendente di Teheran, professionista attiva nell’arte dello spettacolo come la danza, la coreografia e il teatro fisico. Ha studiato arti grafiche e visive.

GREEN NASIM è un lavoro coreografico sperimentale che racconta immaginari artistici legati all’outsider art. È ambientato in un cinema occupato che sta trasmettendo un documentario in diretta, seppur non ancora terminato, sull’imminente rivoluzione animale. La performance si ispira in parte alla strana storia di Nasim Aghdam, prolifica artista youtuber, immigrata iraniana e attivista dei diritti degli animali che, l’anno scorso, si tolse la vita dopo aver commesso un atto di violenza al quartier generale di YouTube negli Stati Uniti, accusando quest’ultimo di censura.

Nana Biluš Abaffy is and an artist with a background in philosophy and a foreground in experimental performance and dance. Nana believes that there is irreducible variation in the human experience and works towards establishing a space for that difference. She is a Zagreb born, Melbourne based alien. Parvin Saljoughi is an independent artist from Tehran who is professionally active in the field of performing arts, including dance, choreography and physical theater. She studied visual arts and graphics.
