Growing up in rural Wales, I had a false expectation of what it meant to live in a city. I was drawn in by concepts like multi-storey car parks, public transport links, and convenient stores. I assumed that I would learn to look past the rugged surfaces and monotonous structures that I have forever drawn my eye. During my time living in Bristol so far, all I have learnt is that unlike nature, cities don't clean up after themselves.
