An interactive dance film website produced in Colombia and later assembled in Philadelphia. Mud: Bodies of History consists of a digital framework in which viewers can make choices regarding how they navigate through dance film material. The choreographic material encompasses the past and present of four different characters who appear within a mud pool. Viewers, in essence, become participants, creating their own narrative while making interesting connections between physical and psychological memory. Each character's descent into the mud represents moving backwards into time, while each ascent brings one back to the metaphorical present.
