The story depicts several decades in the life of Forrest Gump (Hanks), a slow-witted but kind-hearted man from Alabama who witnesses and unwittingly influences several defining  moments in his life. This movie is special to my heart because his character is the epitome of Whimsical,  optimistic and loyal friend. Many lessons learned/wisdom spread across this movie. I love it ! It really makes me cry and brings back many memories.
