MERMAID RESEARCHER'S STUDY is an installation I created in Kasematti III on Harakka Island. Installation was part of the exhibition ARTISTS' ISLAND - TAITEILIJOIDEN SAARI that took place on Harakka Island 9.8.-26.9.2021. Study consists of a desk, laboratory equipment, aquarium, findings, drawings and texts of an imaginary researcher dwelling in the world of underwater and merfolk. Music in the background is composed and performed by Ville Laaksonen, for the film MERMAID STUDIES.
