In a time where we cannot create art within 6 feet of each other we are often left with our dreams. Dreams are but fragments of our real life. Which our brain cobbles together to compile faces, places, and other odd structures. These are my memories these are my dreams. This “film” spans about 4 years of friendship (alas the 5 years prior were not recorded.) It captures young Latino boys in Miami becoming men. A compilation of sounds. A compilation of memories. A compilation of complication.

My favorite compliment I’ve ever received is: “your friends are so dope.” It truly makes me happy that I’m not the only one who thinks so. I love these people more than anything. I wouldn’t be here without them. Thank you for saving me that one night last September. I wouldn’t be here without you guys. It’s been hard to say that, but thank you guys for reminding me that life is worth it. Even when world seems to be at its bleakest. We have hope. Sometimes you have to look back to see it.
