Breakdown list:
0:03-0:22 Crystal Cavern. This environment design was based on a fantasy world I made a kid where a hero goes into this magical cave called the cave of destiny. In this cave you are tested on your purity of heart through trials. Should you pass you are given a magical gift that will help you on your journey. Failed and you would end up in the Crystal Cavern. To escape the Crystal Cavern, you must be judged by the wise Crystal Owl. This environment was modeled and lit in Maya, Sculpted in Zbrush, and textured in Substance Painter.

0:23-0:28 Home for the Holidays. This was an environment I made for my parents for the holidays. It was based on my childhood home I lived in for 13 years. It was a home full of amazing memories and a magical place during the holidays. I wanted to make this as a challenge to work on night lighting. This was modeled in Maya, sculpted in Zbrush, and textured in Substance Painter.

0:28-1:11 Selena the Cheetah. This was a modeling assignment for my modeling class in college. The assignment was to model an animal but add mechanical parts to the body. It was more than slapping gears but it had to look like it would function in reality. I chose to do a cheetah because to me the jungle cats are the most fascinating creatures to study from their shoulder blade movements to their head movements when they run. I looked at the skeletal structure as well as mechanics of trains and cars to design the parts. It was a major challenge and a project I adjusted after the project was over. It was modeled in Maya and textured in Substance Painter.

1:12 -1:17 Sorcerer's Tower. It's based on the same world where the Crystal Cavern dwells. The story behind it is after the hero passes the trials of the Cave of Desinty, they must seek help from a powerful Sorcerer that will guide them to saving the world. The steps are old magical stone books, the pedestal symbols are based on magical elements of the world, and contains carved hats from past magical Sorcerers. This is modeled in Maya, Sculpted in Zbrush, trees were made in SpeedTree, and textured in Substance Painter.
1:17-1:27 Animation from my senior thesis. This scene was made for a senior short that changed into a senior trailer. I was in charge of animating a couple of scenes. This is a clip of one of favorite shots I animated. I animated Troll and granny in this scene. Troll has been taken care out the kindness of Granny and begins to ponder if he should leave or stay to help Granny in her garden. This was animated in Maya.
1:27-1:31 Misty's character expressions. Misty is a character from the fantasy world from the previous two environments in this reel. She is currently in the works of character concept design. She a magical creature that is related to her genie family. Only problem is she is not a genie by a shape shifting magic carpet. She can take forms of being a human but also magical transportation. She accompanies the hero of the story to say her cousin who is imprisoned inside a bottle locked with evil locks surrounding the bottle no allowing her to be set free. She was drawn out in Photoshop.
