A macro journey through a dry coneflower
This was shot using a Nikon DSLR mounted via a Minolta adapter to the Minolta Autobellows III. The lens in a Minolta 50mm reversed to increase the magnification. The first part of the movie is focusing through the coneflower to deeper depths. The last segment was achieved by moving the lighting. The coneflower is surprisingly small, just about the diameter of a nickel. The soundtrack is a simple reversed piano sound.
