From the creator:
The Ma Promo, was created to advertise the new inter-disciplinary postgraduate graphic design course at the university of Huddersfield. The motion graphics were inspired by experiences on the course, capturing every day practice as well as, the contemporary aesthetic of the Barbara Hepworth building.
The protagonist starts by searching for inspiration on what they can do next, unhappy with their current career path, they find the postgraduate courses at Huddersfield; whilst contemplating the pros and cons, the film takes you through a daydream preview of what the course could be like and where it could enable you to go next. Ending with the decision to apply for the graphic design masters after being inspired by the possibilities.
Illustration, Animation and Audio by, Hannah Brunskill; the film was created using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects and Pro Create in the attempt to learn the software for future use, within an inter-disciplinary studio called “Mighty Studio’s”; set up upon completion of the Master’s course in graphic design.
