The film Lloyd follows its titular character through a series of vignettes, stitched together to visualise the narrative of his nadir. After losing his mother -- something intimated throughout the film -- we see Lloyd contend with a much-undesirable inheritance: the legacy his mother, Sylvia, left behind in the fictional “Wellington”, a town drowning in discord.
